Purpose
The primary goal of a PMO manager is to maximize benefits from implementing standardizing and following project management policies, processes, methods, and controls.
Generally will become the source for guidance, documentation, and metrics related to the practices involved in managing and implementing projects within the organization.
Involved in project-related tasks and follow up on project activities through completion.
Report on project activities, problems, and requirements to executive management as a strategic tool in keeping implementers and decision makers moving toward consistent, business- or mission-focused goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Oversee all company projects execution.
Define and manage department and projects scope.
Define and manage plans and timelines.
Manage projects costs.
Manage payment collection from a project management point of view.
Manage department and projects integration.
Develop and manage departments and projects budget.
Manage department and projects human resources.
Manage department and projects communication processes to ensure that all processes are applied and followed.
Ensure continuous improvement of the communication stream and apply any new relevant standards.
Risk management, including risk assessment strategy and policies for the overall organization.
Ensure proper execution of the risk strategy throughout the project’s lifecycle.
Ensure Risk strategy awareness and training for the relevant employees, project managers, and departments
heads
Collaborate with all stakeholders to perform various strategies and coordinate with projects managers to monitor all ongoing projects and resolve all areas of concerns issues.
Evaluate and prepare forecast all policy changes and recommend appropriate business requirements.
Participate in all evaluation meetings.
Authority
The PMO Manager has authority and ability to develop procedure and maintain planning’s, cost control’ and contract’s teams as deemed fit and in benefits to Company.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferably Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or similar technical qualification.
Minimum 15 years of experience in project controls for contracting industry operations.
Strong experience in Planning, Cost Control and Contract.
Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in project management, portfolio management, systems development methodology.
Experience and demonstrated skill in performing, monitoring, reviewing and presenting project planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, schedule analysis with demonstrated skill in establishing criteria, planning and supervising project scheduling activities.
Skilled in supervision, and training of technical and non-technical personnel.
Knowledge of engineering, construction and business management techniques customarily acquired by prolonged course of specialized instruction.
Knowledge of current industry and technical developments.
Proven track record with recognized international standard companies, particularly in Middle East operations and projects.
Excellent communication (reading, writing, and speaking) in English and Arabic
Ability to accomplish project objectives in a timely manner.
Supervision level experience in the field of planning and scheduling.
