To produce cost savings, quality improvements and innovative engineering support within the project assigned. The Engineering duties of the company will be demanding with growing focus on safety, incident elimination and equipment maintenance.
Duties and Essential Job Functions
Prepare design computations and quality estimates and develops probable cost estimates for the projects within the business unit.
Modify scopes of work for mechanical designs (HVAC/Utilities) based on preliminary review and client meetings.
Assist with the preparation of engineering studies and schematic designs for new HVAC/Utilities systems and analyze the operation of existing systems.
Make calculations using engineering formulas and skills for design such as heating and cooling loads, equipment sizing, etc.
Select equipment based on recommendations of Project Designer/Engineer and fill out equipment schedules.
Review the work of the project design teams, checks the progress of the work, and alerts Project Managers of scope changes or additional services.
Provide drawings and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by drafters.
Coordinates all aspects of project document completion, externally with clients, and with other relevant design professionals.
Contributes to the completion of routine technical tasks
Responsible for Health, Safety & Quality of the function/ Task performed in compliance with ISO Standards.
To stop any work activity for any safety reasons (stop Work Authority)
Carrying out other occasional duties related to the scope of the job as requested.

Understands and implements company and client technical standards on projects
Maintains a high level of technical competence in the area of responsibility
Minimizing NCR and compliance with internal and external audits.
المهارات
Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering Degree.
Minimum 10 years of industry related field, with 5 years of maintenance experience
Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs and computer aided drafting
Ability to accept direction and work within diverse, cross functional development teams.
General knowledge of system design and applicable codes in specific discipline related area.
Strong data and system analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork and communication
A creative approach for generating new ideas
A sound knowledge of MS Office software
An excellent grasp of engineering and software principles
Strong interpersonal skills along with demonstrated motivation, determination and commitment to the job are essential
Great attention to details and multi-tasking ability
Tactful and with high regard to confidentiality
