Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
§ To deliver an effective generalist HR service through efficient planning and execution of work processes.
§ To source, identify and select suitable candidates according to approved manpower planning (and also new Manpower Requisition), as per the agreed time levels and budgets.
§ Ensures that new employees receive proper orientation.
§ To maintain professional confidentiality regarding employee personal and company-sensitive information.
§ To manage and maintain personnel records in accordance with company procedures.
§ To act as a focal point for employee issues & deliver a specified level of HR service to internal clients in accordance with Company policies, procedures.
§ To identify, analyze and solve HR issues and contribute to HR process re-engineering as required.
§ To prepare budget forecasts for the Branch based on the anticipated commercial / business requirements of the Company.
§ Coordinate for payroll administration, leave and other related matters.
§ Interpreting and advising on employment legislation;
§ Listening to grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;
§ Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
§ Coordinate in implementation of training and development strategy of the organization for required development.
§ Coordinate for the Personnel Policies Manual, as well as other manuals, is reviewed.
§ Ensure that employees are aware of personnel policies and employee benefit programs on a continuing basis.
§ Coordinates an annual maintenance review of job descriptions, ensuring that each employee has a current job description.
§ Correspond with the Department Manager for the effective operation of the employee performance evaluation program and ensures that supervisors conduct meaningful employee evaluations in accordance with the company policy.
§ Assist the management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries.
