Responsible for selling products, building and maintaining strong professional relationships with customers and implementing the sales activities in line with the department’s established policies and procedures while ensuring the achievement of the stated sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor and ensure that sales plans/ sales targets are properly communicated to the sales team on a timely basis in order to ensure proper implementation of the same. Ensure that Sales Team acquire a clear and comprehensive understanding of the Brands. Ensure a clear understanding of clients’ needs and budget in order to recommend the most suitable Brands. Ensure that proper documentation for the sales process is maintained. Follow up on the collection of invoices and due payments with the Finance Department in order to ensure receivables are paid on timely basis during implementation process. Maintain positive relations with existing customers in order to ensure customer retention. Handle and respond to client’s queries in a professional and effective manner to ensure high customer satisfaction. Prospect and close sales deals in order to achieve monthly sales targets. Stay up to date with competitors’ operations and market conditions in order to enhance performance and gain competitive advantage. Provide customers with the appropriate selection, sampling of products in response to their inquiries and liaise with the supervisor/sales manager in order to provide customers with quotations, as required
