Come up with recipe ideas from scratch.
Plan the menu of desserts and pastry to complement savory items.
Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized at all times.
Maintain up to date knowledge about pastry and ingredients.
Carry out administrative duties to maintain an efficient workspace.
Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
Serve customers quickly and efficiently
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings.
Balance of jobs between a barista and pastry chef.
Prepare and serve tea drinks that meet quality standards
Standard of Pastries must be consistent.

Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role
Great attention to detail and creativity
Organizing and leadership skills
Willingness to replenish professional knowledge
In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
