Role Objective:
The Trading Manager is responsible for all Trading related activities.
Help in developing and implementing the trading strategy for the company.
Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the trading department.
Prepare monthly profit & loss for the trading function.
Participate in the market and commodity analysis.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic
Help Vice President Business development and Trading in product and supplier selection
Preparation of Trading functions budget and business plan
Oversee implementation of the marketing strategy with a focus on supply and price risk management.
Prepare policies and procedures related to trading activities.
Operational
Prepare the criteria for supplier selection.
Coordinate the screening process of potential suppliers based on the defined criteria.
Carry out the selection process of potential suppliers based on the defined criteria.
Coordinate the process of entering into contracts with the selected suppliers.
Track the expiry of contracts on a periodic basis.
Provide support/ assistance to suppliers with respect to logistical services.
Perform day to day activities related to trading of products, such as order collection, inventory planning, purchase planning, logistic planning, storage and warehousing planning.
Conduct innovation and development workshops for suppliers to maintain their awareness of changes in customer requirement.
Prepare report on the status of the new product, suppliers identified for Trading and activities performed by the Function.
People Management
Manage relationship with key customers and suppliers
Manage, train and mentor staff
Regular reporting to Vice president Business Development and Trading.

Behavioural Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Educational Qualification:
Under graduate degree Engineering.
Post graduate preferable (MBA).
Experience:
5-10 years of prior experience in Trading, sales & marketing in the O&G;industry.
Proven working experience as Trading manager/ Sales manager/marketing manager.
Skills:
Business acumen
Strong interpersonal skills.
Highly developed negotiation skills.
Ability to think strategically
Effective verbal and written communications skills.
Advance computer skills on MS Office.
Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines.
Languages:
Arabic, English
