Job Overview:
Responsible for managing the distribution and its functions within the organization. Planning and managing logistics, transportation and customer services. He should be responsible to use the GPS tracking systems to track vehicles, document and control the vehicle optimization to avoid customer deliveries delay.
The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure
sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set distribution plans and manage distribution operations to achieve the set goals.
Identify resources, perform workload assignments and provide assistances to the drivers as and when required.
Schedule the vehicles as per the orders and assigning drivers to each distribution truck.
Required to have understanding of external influences such as fuel costs, roadblocks and any governmental traffic rules in order to do the task on a high and efficient standard.
Conduct coaching and suggestion to the drivers and helpers as needed.
Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvements.
Oversee daily vehicle routes through GPS and improve route plans to ensure timely assigned deliveries are complete.
Follow and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain Personal Hygiene and Food Safety among the team. To take strict disciplinary action for any violation of Food safety policy.
Address customer complaints on deliveries and behavior to the Head of Operations for immediate disciplinary action.
Work closely with central kitchen to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
Responsible to send the vehicles to maintenance and servicing on regular basis as per the kilometers set range.
Ensure that the Company’s distribution vehicles are maintained in good working conditions.
Ensure that all drivers and helpers are wearing clean uniforms.
Any other tasks required by Direct Manager.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the same field.
Bachelor’s degree is preferable.
Proven record of successful distribution and logistics management
Proficient in standard logistics software
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Strong planning skills
Good time management ability
Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
The ability to lead and motivate the team
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Flexibility and respectful
Self-motivated
Well organized
Ability to work under pressure
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point & Outlook
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the local
standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
