Major Role:
Managing the overall functioning of the information systems including providing the necessary infrastructure, implementing corporate IT initiatives, providing training to end users, and ensuring adherence to IT and security policies at the location.
Responsible for the effective design, development, implementation and operation of information technology products, services, and support to enable the achievement of the organization business objectives.
Technical leader for company’s technological directions
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operational
Direct daily operations of the department, analyzing workflow for improvements, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines to execute production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets and/or exceeds expectations.
Direct and manage the overall and day-to-day business and technical components of internal IT projects to ensure the quality of IT products, solutions, and deliverables.
Identify, define, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiency, mitigate risk, resolve issues and achieve cost savings for IT Department.
Ensure the successful support and maintenance of IT systems including (ERP, Retail, Financials etc.).
Perform liaison duties between users, operations, and IT team in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting.
Responsible for managing the ERP Solution Architects and the development team, including third party partners.
Manage the ERP systems environments, define development standards, and monitor compliance to defined standards.
Lead, manage and perform day to day support of the ERP environment addressing support requests on a timely basis. Monitor team’s open production support requests and ensure timely resolution and communication to the business.
Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
Analyze complex business needs presented by the user community and recommends technical solutions.
Ensure defined and deployed solutions are easily supportable and deployed code is of high quality. Maintain the integrity of the path to production and ensure source control compliance.
Managing a customer service helpdesk & Elicit requirement from stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for business process and system improvements/optimization.
Managing the divisions resources, including drafting, and executing its budget, developing its organizational structure.
Software
Provides vision, planning, and coordination of all software development and/or implementation activities. Establishes standards in software development and integration.
Manage Software Quality Assurance striving to achieve a high level of quality and independent verification of software reliability.
Network Security & Risk Management.
Leads the design, specification, configuration, installation, and maintenance of local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services and Internet service providers.
Implement an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s data and servers.
Establish and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
Monitor system health/availability.
Prepare and lead sprint review meetings and sprint retrospect meetings.
Facilitate daily stand-up meetings.
AX Dynamics
Responsible for operation and support of Dynamics AX environment
Improve overall health of ERP system
Apply functional understanding of Dynamics AX
Assist current team to deepen DAX knowledge
Plan, implement and monitor changes in infrastructure configurations
Work on full life-cycle implementations of Dynamics AX solutions 2012
Proof of functional and technical requirement gathering and documentation
Implement and deploy AX modules and customizations
Post-live training and support
Quality Assurance and testing
Strategic
Promote the use of innovative technologies that will provide benefits to the organization.
Plan strategies and developmental plans for the welfare of the organization.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders for the development and implementation of the strategic plans.
Ensure that the developmental programs are designed in a way to meet the organizational goals and objectives.
Interaction with executive levels both internal and external regarding matters that influence policies and strategies.
Vendor Management
Research and make recommendations on hardware and software purchases and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Oversee and direct technology vendors and technology project teams contracted to implement projects by the established deadline. In addition, support work to implement the supporting technology and software, including input to overall project work plans, resource plans, schedules, project status, issues , and risks .
Assist in the creation and management of procurement processes for the acquisition of technology products and services.
Project Management
Assign and or directly perform business requirements gathering, design, development, and testing for new projects and enhancements.
Monitor and track projects.
Prepare project communication plans.
Prepare and manage risk management plans & quality management plans.
Manage the project constraints of scope, time, budget, quality, risk, and resources.
Provide status reports to the executive sponsor or other stakeholders as required.
المهارات
Qualifications and requirements:
Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Computer Applications.
10 - 15 years experience in a retail environment
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
Advanced knowledge of Network infrastructure & Excellent experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
IT Certifications are a must
Excellent communication skills
Excellent analyzing and Strategic planning skills
