Conducts testing on a wide variety of samples (finished product, raw materials, water, sampling etc.) according to testing schedule: microbiological, chemical and physical tests;
Records all microbiological, chemical and physical analysis results for tractability and reporting purposes;
Helps in collecting samples of incoming raw material, in-process materials and finished products;
Prepares all tools, chemicals, media, and equipments for the analysis and ensure the maintenance of the same as per set standards;
Calibrates and maintains all designated laboratory - related utensils and instruments;
Establishes new analytical method and method validation in order to improve and evolve laboratory practices;
Ensures the laboratory is well stocked in order to ensure continuity of laboratory activities;
Maintains environment monitoring program through finger plating technique and swab analysis.
المهارات
Bachelor degree in Food Technology / Biology / Microbiology / Chemistry / Food Safety / Food Hygiene including HACCP standards
Good communication in Arabic and English.
work experience in quality control and/or laboratories within a food manufacturing environment
Food manufacturing environment experience is essential
Familiarity with ISO 9001, HACCP and ISO 14000 standards
