An international company is looking for a Financial Accountant. You will own the end to end financial accounting and financial reporting with accuracy and delivered in the deadlines set. It is key you ensure the finance operating model / processes for record to report, intercompany, tax and accounts payables are maintained, reviewed and improved to ensure no misstatement of the financial records. You will own balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounts and ensure support is provided for consolidation of the organisation. Key accountabilities:
Manage end to end recording of financial transactions of the Company and control the General Ledger with completeness and accuracy
End to end month end process and the reporting of the management accounts (P/L, BS, Cash Flow) and KPI’s to senior management
Complete local balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany accounts and ensure there are no intercompany differences
Ensure supporting documentation is kept and reconciling items are cleared in a timely manner
Lead preparation of technical accounting advisory work citing IFRS requirements where applicable
Statutory reporting and assistance in the preparation of quarterly, half and full financial statements
Assist in the external and internal audits and ensure they are completed within the timescales set
Ensure Tax compliance as required
المهارات
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
ACCA/ACA/CPA/CIMA qualified
Expertise in reporting under IFRS
Experience big four would be an advantage
Financial accounting, reporting and management reporting experience (3+ years)
Knowledge of Oracle Financial Management and advanced Excel
Ability to work in high pressure environment and deal with tight deadlines
Good interpersonal and communication skills
