الوصف الوظيفي
· Provides design lead and supports project managers with respect to water/wastewater infrastructure expansion, relocation and rehabilitation.
· Activities will include designing of various site design and utilities’ aspects of large site development and master planning projects.
· Leads the Utility design teams to develop design solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner whilst complying with the requirements of the client and stakeholders.
· Attends the project related Meetings, Workshops or Presentations with the Clients, Developers or Government Agencies, as and when required.
· Guides subordinates from conceptualization thru detailed designing and handling tender issues as well as issues during construction stages of the projects.
· Facilitates the effectual integration of various Engineering and Infrastructure Design elements (Structures, Electromechanical, Traffic, Utilities, Drainage, Storm Water System, Water Supply System, etc.) into a unified design to be submitted to client and statutory authorities for their review and approvals.
· Prepares project drawings and calculations, designs various project elements to be included in the final project deliverable and coordinates with private & public utilities/agencies and sub consultants.
· Interacts with clients, regulatory agencies as well as multi-discipline and internal teams within AEB.
Displays significant proficiency in the design of gravity and pressure mains covering potable water and foul network.
المهارات
BS in Civil Engineering
UPDA certification from Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning
Minimum of 15 years professional experience in Infrastructure Design preferably in a consultancy environment.
At least 5 years GCC experience with reputed international consulting firms.
Sound Knowledge of design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS is required.
Familiarity with sustainable design techniques will be an added advantage.
