Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in a Hydro carbon facility or in an EPIC Environment. Brown field experience will be preferred. Good knowledge of process flow in an upstream oil and gas facilities such as Degassing Plants, Gas recycling plants , well head treatment plants etc. Must be familiar with Separation techniques and static equipment’s related to such processes. Familiarity with Process flow diagrams(PFD) and P&IDs;.Must be able to interpret Process flow calculations ,Equipment sizing , Pressure calculations and other related engineering deliverables. Familiarity with rotary equipment’s and mass fluid transfer loops. Basic knowledge of piping hydraulics and stress analysis. Fair knowledge of process fluid composition and properties in an upstream oil& gas facilities.
Good knowledge of closed process loops, installation and commissioning techniques of Hydro carbon process vessels such as Multi phase separators, Knock out drums, Heat exchangers, Flash drums etc.
Must be conversant with safe start up methods for hydro carbon vessels and associated piping . Good knowledge about the operation of equipment’s using Data acquisition Systems , DCS, PLC etc. Familiarity with basic instrumentation used in Upstream Oil and gas facilities. Good knowledge of shut down systems and SIL Rated safety instrumentation. Working experience with all kind of final control elements such as Control Valves , Motorized Valves etc. Fair idea about process analysis techniques, quality analysis , quantitative analysis etc.
Good working knowledge of HSE practices in Oil and Gas facilities and aware of standard quality control norms/procedures according to international standards.
