الوصف الوظيفي · Developing design concepts in coordination with the Interior design Manager and in consultation with the client to establish final briefs; · Confer with clients to determine their needs and to determine the factors affecting planning their interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, and purpose and function. · Research and Gather information as well as photographs related to the project in order to develop the idea on a correct basis. · Advise clients on interior design factors that might have an impact on their space planning, utilization of furniture, equipment, as well as trends, practicality and the appropriate color schemes. · Select materials and furniture according to set budgets; Estimate material requirements and costs in coordination with the interior design manager · Source and select products and materials including wall finishes, floor finishes, light fittings, sanitary fittings, furniture and accessories and submit to interior design manager for approval · Prepare client presentations including professional visuals and material samples · Prepare schematic plans, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, flooring plans, detailed drawings and 3D visuals · Prepare a detailed BOQ with high attention to quantity, size and specification · Divide the BOQ into design packages ready for subcontractor’s e.g. gypsum works, joinery works, flooring works, etc · Site visits to ensure the project is being implemented as per the approved drawings, coordination with the site engineer regarding quality control and project schedule. · Work closely with Site Engineer to ensure quality of work is being executed as per company standards. Instruct and follow-up with the draftsmen and 3D visualizers to complete their tasks as per the schedule given and ensure that they are time efficient and highly productive. Advise and guide them to produce · the highest standard of presentations as well as meticulous detailed drawings with maximum accuracy. · Attend coordination or project progress meetings. · Work closely with the procurement team to ensure the selections have been made under the correct criteria (Price/Quality), with architects and other design professionals to determine the best use of space and developing the most innovative and trendy ideas, and with manufacturers and contractors to ensure the best quality of work is being executed according to drawings and time schedule. · Keep up to date with new developments, trends and innovations in the design industry. · Follow up with client to brief him/her on the project status and ensure that design expectations have been met. · Submit a weekly report to the interior design manager for the projects assigned, reporting the project status, any execution issues or advice on unforeseen issue that may arise.
