Preparing and maintaining updated management accounts, including analysis of the information as required.
Preparing the financial reporting package to management in a timely manner within the required deadline, while ensuring accurate and up to date figures.
Providing cash flow reports to management, as required.
Preparing accurate financial reports with regards to costing, forecasting, budgeting and division performance, as required, and in co-ordination with relevant staff.
Communicating with the warehouse, and monitoring, recording and reporting on merchandise that will be thrown as waste.
Verifying the accuracy and processing the company’s payroll in a timely manner.
Liaising with banks and other financial institutions to ensure optimum facilities and business terms and conditions for the company.
Liaising with external auditors to ensure completion of financial audit in a timely manner.
Reconciling, preparing and issuing payments to suppliers, in a timely manner, and as per the payment policies of the company.
Recommending policies and procedures capable of protecting the business resources against waste, fraud, and inefficiency.
Ensuring implementation of and compliance with the cash control policies of the company.
Monitoring and approving the reconciliation of the petty cash fund accurately on a monthly basis.
Supervising and ensuring the accurate day to day recording of transactions, including verifying and approving journal entries etc.
Preparing month end closing such as bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations etc.
Adhering to policies and procedures governing all transactions and activities of the business.
Maintaining compliance with IFRS and applicable local laws, and recommending changes where required.
Preparing ad hoc reports as required by manager.
Planning and monitoring the monthly budget in collaboration with the relevant departments, and obtaining explanations for any variances between budgets and actual figures.
Mentoring junior team members.
Collaborating with other departments where required.
المهارات
· Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance.
· CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
· Knowledge of accounting practices and principles, specifically IFRS.
· Minimum 4 years’ experience managing a team.
· Good time management skills.
· Good communication skills.
· Knowledge of budgeting practices and principles.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially excel.
