Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Diploma, HNC with minimum 7 years experience as a site HSE Officer in a construction environment, as well as holding a certificate in OHS.NEBOSH or OHSAS certified. Sound knowledge of the relevant legislation and codes of practice in HSE. HSE auditing experience at sites. Thorough knowledge and experience in HSE operational controls( e.g: scaffolding, fire prevention and protection, emergency response practices, Tool box talks, safety signs, fleet safety management, heavy equipment safety, site HSE control in terms of PPE program enforcement, health and hygiene at camps, first aid and emergency handling, electrical safety, hazard watch, security control, etc).
Skills Required:
Interpersonal and influencing skills, reporting and communication skills, computer skills (excel, word, power point). Follow-up and coordination skills.
Much Desired:
Charisma, persistence, systematic thinking, good physique.
For junior HSE officer minimum 4 years experience, for assistant HSE officer minimum 3 years experience
