Key Accountabilities:
• Carry out geotechnical site investigations work in accordance with client’s requirements and contract specifications;
• Classify soil and rock samples in accordance with ASTM procedures;
• Carry out geotechnical field tests including but not limited to Field CBR, Permeability, CPT, Torvane, Packer tests etc. Carry out Geophysical tests;
• Carry out pile and plate load tests;• Produce and maintain Driller’s log;

Qualifications required:• B. Sc/ M. Sc in Geology or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Skills / experience required to do the job:
• Bachelor degree in Geology with at least 2 years experience in soil investigation, logging, drilling methods, and detailed understanding of in-situ testing and familiar with laboratory testing. For those holding a Diploma in Civil Engineering at least 5 years experience is required;
• Awareness of any specific health and safety measures needed on a project.• Fluent in English.
