The Organization:
Our client is a rehabilitation and long-term care provider, with facilities in UAE and now opening their first clinic in Saudi. They provide multidisciplinary and intensive rehabilitation for individuals suffering from neurological problems in subacute, post-acute and long-term care settings. They are hiring experienced Physiotherapists to join their new team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
To provide highly specialist physiotherapeutic assessments for complex neurological, orthopaedic and respiratory patients, from adult and paediatric populations;
Provision of appropriate and clinically reasoned treatment plans alone and in conjunction with an integrated team of physicians, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, and other Allied Health Professionals;
Carrying a mixed caseload of patients within the neurology specialty with an emphasis on those with highly complex/chronic presentations;
Manage own time and caseload with an awareness of limitation of the therapy service and a knowledge of specialist facilities and appropriate referral;
To demonstrate highly specialized therapeutic moving and handling skills in the assessment and treatment of clients. To give highly specialist advice to staff, client, carers and family on the correct manual handling techniques, undertaking highly specialized manual handling risk assessments.
Skills & Competencies:
Broad range of experience in a variety of patient care settings including but not limited to ICU, Paediatrics, Orthopedics and Neurology;
Experience in a specialist role in a related field. In depth understanding of 24 hour postural care, respiratory interventions in neurologically impaired patients and neurodevelopmental assessment and therapy techniques;
Education & Qualifications:
MSc, BSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy;
Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in a variety of clinical environments;
Proven experience in Pediatrics and complex neurological presentations;
Currently in Saudi with a valid license and transferable Iqama.
