Summary:
Engineering
Intern to be trained and work with Drilling Solutions Engineering team at NOV
Downhole
Essential Responsibilities:
We are looking for candidates to enroll in a 6 months internship program
where we will train them on oil and gas drilling tools operation and
utilization.
- Candidates will be part of the Drilling Solutions Engineering.
Candidates are expected to attend the training sessions and prepare a
bi-weekly training progress report.

Assist the Engineering team job on drilling tools operations using tools and
skills gained throughout the training process.

Responsible for ensuring data held within tracking system is accurate and up to
date.
Ensuring job documentation is processed in a timely manner and ensuring
prompt and satisfactory job closure.
Perform other work related task as assigned.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
Qualifications/Requirements:
This
is a 6 month program that complements the university requirement for the
potential candidates. A candidate must be engineering graduate applying
for university co-op.
Skill & Competencies
Technical
/ functional knowledge. Basic knowledge drilling equipment.
· Good analytical skills with ability for problem solving.
· Quality Focus.
· Planning, including ability to plan and manage workloads.
· Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Time Management
· Decision Quality.
