Job Description and Requirements Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Workshop Supervisor will ensure that Service Technicians, Service Assistants and Inspection personnel carry out their work in a safe and correct manner, while respecting NOV Safety and Service Quality Standards and Procedures, with the tools being assembled and dismantled to meet exact customer requirements. Major Responsibilities: · Promoting and encouraging safe working practices within the workshop · Maintaining quality level in accordance to NOV service quality standards. · Carrying daily toolbox meetings. · Supervising a team of Service Technicians, Service Assistants and Inspection personnel assigning their day to day duties. · Overseeing the service technicians activities to make sure safety and quality procedures are followed. · Coordinating with Asset Team and other districts’ personnel to ensure that customer requirements are met and that tool assemblies are dispatched on time · Prioritizing tool assemblies and redresses within the workshop ensuring that Service Routers are completed as appropriate · Ensuring that workshop equipment is properly maintained in a safe working condition · Supervising training programs for new employees · Supervising the rotation training of established employees on new product lines · Ordering workshop consumable items · Carrying out final inspection on fully completed tool assemblies prior to tool dispatch · Ensure that high safety and housekeeping standards are maintained.
