Job Description and Requirements Under the direction of the Lead Quality Engineer, is responsible for reporting, maintaining and controlling Quality documents and records. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES · Handle Quality Control activities for daily production. · Provide inspection test plan to satisfy internal & external customers’ quality control requirements. · Deal with internal & external customers’ feedback on quality issues. · Monitor and improve production yield. · Maintain company quality system to meet international standards and external customers’ specifications, i.e. ISO 9001 and PDO specifications. · Conduct periodic calibration for all quality testing equipment. · Ensure all qualified vendors can follow company’s quality specifications · Setup procedures for quality control and conduct daily quality inspection activities to identify all defective products. Prevent any defective products from shipping out to customers. · Ensure the quality system is following all standards and customers’ specifications. · Identify Six Sigma Projects for Business Improvements · Ensure Companywide Compliance · Ensure all equipment is in a state of calibration · Manage customer’s inspection activities and maintain good relationship with customer. · To communicate to relevant departments on potential quality system issues that may lead to major nonconformance if unattended. To monitor smooth and on time execution of QC inspection and test activities, preparation of documentation to meet on time delivery KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS · Tertiary education. · Certified quality engineer. · ISO 9001 & API knowledge. · Qualified quality system auditor. · Minimum of 3 years experience in working with fiberglass in a manufacturing environment. · Minimum 5 years work experience and 3 years’ experience in QA and QC. · Management, coaching, counseling and monitoring skills. · ISO 9001 auditor training. · Certified quality engineer course. |
