الوصف الوظيفي
• Work with other engineering professionals, senior drillers, laboratory technicians/technical assistants to ensure projects are completed in accordance with provided guidelines and meets client’s expectations;
• Apply standard engineering practices and techniques in specific situations, adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies in results and follow operations through a series of detailed steps or processes;
• Use prescribed methods to perform project tasks under supervision of an experienced engineer;
• Assist project professionals with project execution, proposal and report preparation;
• Supervise large geotechnical projects and liaison with client representatives on site;
• Write geotechnical reports and carry out engineering calculations;
• Work on engineering software used in the geotechnical department;
• Carry out geophysical and pile load tests;
• Classification of soil and rock samples based on ASTM procedures.
المهارات
Qualifications required:
• Candidates with minimum Bachelors in Civil Engineering/preferably with Masters in Geotechnical or related field.
Skills/experience required to do the job:
• At least 4 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of fundamentals of geotechnical engineering requirements, field data acquisition procedures, soils and various testing procedures;
• Good supervisory skills;
• Good command in use of computers and software used in the geotechnical department;
• Good understanding of HSEMS and QMS system
