JOB PURPOSE: Collaborate with Sales & Marketing, Finance and Operations to integrate business processes and develop solutions. Understand regional / Global strategies and provide work directions to the planners and schedulers. Determine inventory policy throughout the supply chain process, review replenishment targets, and sustain an effective planning inventory model, globally, for given product groups & proactively manage backorders.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Demand Planning
Proper allocation of forecasted projects to the units based on the available capacity and customer requirement.
Provide timely reply to the enquiries.
Validate the status of the enquiries on a weekly basis.
Provide enough guidance to the local scheduling team on the allocation of these orders or if any specific constraints.
Check these enquiries are updated in the master schedules.
Prepare quarterly HUB analysis for the GRE Molded fittings.
Production allocation
Develop business allocation rules per product line considering the manufacturing cost, logistic cost & lead time with customer satisfaction as an ultimate goal.
Identify potential scenarios for production allocation based on the demand plan, capacity and customer requirement.
Perform cost benefit analysis of each selected scenario including additional shifts, resources and proposed change to manufacturing network.
S & OP Meeting
Provide the Consolidated Capacity Utilization Report to the management.
Conduct S&OP;meeting with various stakeholders to discuss and finalize the production release of the backlog, project prioritization and select suitable scenario for production allocation.
Communicate the conclusions of S& OP meeting to the local unit schedulers.
Scheduling Coordination
Implement effective cross team collaboration and manage the scheduling activity for 2 manufacturing units.
Ensure that the machine outputs, backlogs and constraints are being considered by local schedulers.
Ensure the local schedulers comply with the released monthly production orders based on the commitments.
Ensure the cancelled orders and enquiries are removed from schedules
Ensure the schedulers are providing the FPI committed schedule for every sales order to projects.
Project Planning
Ensure the consolidated master plan for all production lines are always up to date.
Identify the critical issues that need to be resolved and inform the management to keep the project completed on time.
Conduct meeting with Project team to identify the priority & make necessary amendments on the schedules.
SPAN OF Communication
Internal: Director- Manufacturing, Director- Global Bids and Proposal, Director – VETM, Operations Director, Project Managers, Production Managers, Logistic Leaders, Purchase Specialist and Unit Schedulers.
External: N/A
Job relevant information:
Optimize the resources of the manufacturing plants based on the orders received and work to the goal of meeting the customer demand based on the proper allocation of orders to the units.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or technical related fields.
Master/MBA preferred
Preferred Experience:
5+ years of Production planning, Logistics, or Supply chain management experience with increasing level of responsibilities.
With a multinational background as or equivalent.
Job-Specific Skills:
Life cycle planning from quotations to product delivery experience.
Involved in discrete manufacturing systems.
English fluency.
Ability to build relationship within the department and beyond.
Analytical and logical thinking.
