The Organization: Our client is a rehabilitation and long-term care provider, with facilities in UAE and recently opened their first clinic in Saudi. They provide multidisciplinary and intensive rehabilitation for individuals suffering from neurological problems in subacute, post-acute and long-term care settings. Duties & Responsibilities: Our client is hiring an experienced and result driven Business Development Manager, responsible for managing patient acquisition and conceptualizing, developing and facilitating the implementation of new programs. The ideal candidate fits the role of a professional and knowledgeable representative of the organization, who spends 50% of time outside the office working with community healthcare organizations, associations, referral sources and consumers; and 50% of time in the office coordinating and planning community relations initiatives and completing required reports. · Works in collaboration with other community based providers and the senior management team to evaluate, develop and implement as appropriate new programs and/or services; · Develops strategies and implements activities to increase awareness of programs and services; · Serves as the principle representative for the organization in community health related meetings in the Eastern province. Maintains and develops relationships with key external healthcare related contacts in the community at large; · Accountable to ensure that the department meets budget expectations (revenues and expenses) with corresponding KPI’s that have been agreed upon; · Works with government regulatory agencies, health centers, community – based organizations, insurers, and community coalitions to develop programs, events, and initiatives that will promote mission and objectives; · Prepares and presents monthly reports and maintains records on all sponsored community activities and the outcomes including any new business or referrals for services that were received; · Develops written proposals as requested. To include but not limited to scope of work, purpose, targeted audience, itemized expense, and expected revenue as appropriate; · Establishes loyal and meaningful relationships with external and internal customers; · Adapts to the team and builds team spirit. Recognizes and rewards the contribution of others, develops and openly communicates self-insight, listens, consults others and communicates proactively; · Takes responsibility for actions, projects and people, takes initiative, acts with confidence and works under own direction, initiates and generates activity.

Skills & Competencies: · Excellent communication skills, both English and Arabic; · Excellent presentation skills and effective public speaker; · Able to prioritize and meet deadlines; · Self-motivated; · Microsoft office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Sales force (CRM) experience; · Uses own initiative and is able to make decisions. Education & Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree in Business or relevant from an accredited college; · Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales and/or business development; · Mandatory background in healthcare, highly preferred hospital experience; · Minimum of 4 years’ management/leadership experience.
