الوصف الوظيفي Work Schedule Cashier normally works a flexible schedule, requiring both morning and evening availability. Casher is expected to be available for work any day of the week. Requested to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval by Operations Manager. · General working Scheduled for 54 hours (1 full day off – 2 morning shifts off). General Description Receive and disburse money in establishments other than financial institutions. Usually involves use of electronic scanners, cash registers, or related equipment, often involved in processing credit or debit card transactions and validating checks. Maintain standard with high sense of urgency, high energy level and very attention to details, constantly demonstrate our company culture of “C.C.A.R.E” by treating employees as individuals with dignity and respect. Essential Job Functions Customer Service · Ensure customers are greeted in a professional manner and are provided excellent customer service. · Implement eXtra customer services philosophy. · Ensure customers’ complaints are resolved with sense of urgency. · Advice the customers about any new promotions. · Answer customers’ questions, and provide information on procedures or policies. Financial control · Receive the start-up cash from the cash officer at the beginning of the shift. · Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change. · Ensure the payment money is not fake or damage. · Handle any foreign currency according to the company exchange rate. · Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins. · Maintain accurate records of the sale of goods and services, without any errors. · Ensure the ownership of the visa/credit card holder. · Ensure the signature of the visa card holder. · Handover the money to the cash officer at the end of the shift according to company policy and procedure. Loss Prevention & Safety · Ensure adherence to all company directed programs. · Advise Store Manager of potential security risks and major shrink issues. · Ensure that the store environment is safe for employees and customers. · Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft and other security risks and promptly communicated to loss prevention. · Comply with all Safety & Security procedures. · Not allow to share the system password with anybody. · Handover the drawer key to the cash officer at the end of shift and receive the exit pass. · Ensure logging out from the system application & take off the drawer key before leave the cash desk for any reason. · Implement all the company security guide lines. Operational · Ensure the availability of all the work equipments atthe beginning of shift. · Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. · Ensure collect all the total amount of money from the customer before print the invoice. · Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas. · Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales. · Compute and record totals of transactions. · Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners. · Handle the loose change money with the cash officer when it’s required. · Ensure bag, box or gift-card merchandise according to the company merchandising guide lines. · Handling gift cards and gift vouchers per as the company policy and procedure. · Process merchandise returns and exchanges. · Inform the customer about any service or policy according to the company guidelines. · Implement all the closing & opening SOPs. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities · Read, Write and communicate using English language. · Professional mathematical skills including some knowledge of weights and measures. · Ability to understand and respond to basic customer and employee inquires and communicate responses that understandable by customer and employee. · Knowledge of company&rs;المهارات |
