الوصف الوظيفي Carry out clinical in patients and outpatient clinic duties as directed by the Head of the Department. In accordance with his/her approved clinical privileges. Ensure that Senior Registrars, Registrars, Residents and Interns assigned to him/her carry out their duties appropriately. Take action when such staffs fail to carry out their duties. Maintain records of patterns of performance of all junior medical staff assigned to him/her. Assume responsibility to the teaching staff assigned to the specialty for training purposes and participate with the Academic Affairs Director in planning a program of career development of Saudi national doctors assigned to him/her. Ensure the hospital beds and resources are used appropriately by junior medical staff assigned to him/her. Assume responsibility for the timely completion of medical records and other medical reports in accordance with the hospitals standards for patient medical records. Participate in post-graduate activities of the OB/GYNE Department and serve on committee as appointed by the Head of the Department or by the Director of Medical Units. Participate in and /or actively support the conduct of approved research projects. Through the chain of command and /or occurrence variance report, identifies any occurrence not consistent with the operation of the hospital or standard of service for patients, employees or visitor and situation that put patients, staff and visitors at risk for injury or other harm. Saudi Board, Arab Board or equivalent degree recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). Maintains a valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties license as Consultant. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working as Senior Registrar for any promotion to Consultant post. SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE: Working knowledge of excel, power point presentations, outlook and word. |
