الوصف الوظيفي
The day to day running of all machinery including deck machinery, davit and hoists.
The allocation of all maintenance work to respective mechanics and E/R ratings.
Direct supervision of work conducted by engine room ratings, as required.
The safe keeping of an engine room watch as the chief Engineer deputy he will act on his behalf in his absence or in case of his incapacity.
The supervision and organization of all Engine room mechanics monitoring lube oil R.O.B
Taking of regular condition and maintenance of thrusters, auxiliary equipment and air conditioning etc.
Keep record of daily work done.
Where there is no serving Electrician he will assume the electrician responsibility and the sounding of tank cofferdams and bilge throughout the vessel and the upkeep of the sounding book.
