On behalf of a Holding Group, we are hiring a Purchasing and Contracts Manager for their office in the eastern province. Reporting to the General Manager you are responsible for managing all procurement processes, including vendor selection and vendor contracts. The role will support the aggressive growth and expansion in line with the Company’s overall strategic objectives.
Manage all RFP and tendering processes.
Design and implement standard terms and conditions related to all purchasing activities.
The design and execution of clear and commercially based vendor contracts.
Manage the supply chain for material delivery, such that all projects have the required materials on-site as required to support the contractor delivery schedules
Manage any variation orders attached to any contractor attached to an existing project, such that the variation is both a valid claim and within the terms of existing contracts
Review the consolidation, where applicable, of major materials demand (i.e. steel, cement, concrete, etc.) for greater negotiating power and lower costs (economies of scale), and coordinates with concerned companies the supplier awarding and delivery of materials
Participate with Operational Managers in the technical and commercial evaluation, negotiations and selection of the contractors and vendors, as appropriate
Proactively strategic sourcing needs by reviewing the material requirements of the various projects; establish policies for strategic sourcing of such items
Oversee and reviews the development and monitoring of the Purchasing and Contracts Function annual plan, its budget and resources ensuring alignment with companies overall strategy and direction
Design and oversees the development of required policies, procedures and processes within the Purchasing and Contracts Function
Work with the Operations VP to ensure that all projects are fully supported with the required professional services, contractors, materials and other project related inputs delivered on time, to the expected standards, at acceptable levels of profitability
Deliver all materials on time, within budget and to expected standards of quality
Work with the New Products Manager, to identify new material/product supply chain benefits and design the required contracts and supply chain requirements
المهارات
Bachelor Degree in Engineering / equivalent degree.
Professional Procurement and negotiation qualification
Minimum of 10 years of related and relevant experience in procurement and contracts.
Experience from a Construction company
Experience in Risk Analysis and Management
Supply Chain Management qualifications
Project Management
Strategic Planning
Visioning and Alignment
Computer literacy
Excellent verbal and written skills (fluent in Arabic, good ability in English)
