Reports to: National Fleet & Transportation Manager
Primary Purpose of the Job:
• Manages all fleet maintenance activities and operations to optimize vehicles availabilities and utilization by implement preventive maintenance system.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Manage, monitor and develops the daily operations of fleet maintenance services, preventative maintenance system and repairing for all vehicles’ company to optimize the availability.
• Implement and Develop workshop processes, policies, and SOP.
• Plan, organize, and manage the work of workshop team through appropriate communication channel on a daily basis to ensure KPI’s are achieved.
• Plan, direct, coordinate, work plans for assigned team; assigns work activities through Job allocation including job scheduling and labor allocation for day to day operations.
• Follow up the pending orders and control by daily report progress on each job and quickly communicate for any delay with concerns to reduce the down time of vehicles.
• Ensure tools and spare part availability by managing the parts movement and coordinating with inventory controller to maintain min. stock need periodically.
• Analyze workshop equipment and tools in order to determine specific needs and to achieve optimal equipment performance and reliability.
• Assist with quoting, project management, materials purchasing and quality checks.
• Act as a technical adviser on key projects and other areas of the business as requested.
• Work to investigate complaints and concerns arising from users and suggest appropriate solutions and discuss with team to identify appropriate course of action.

• Monitor the contracts with outside workshop by visually inspecting vendors’ facilities and records in order to ensure high quality repairs.
• Evaluate and compare the performance of the service providers using predefined criteria mentioned in the contracts to get a better service and better price.
• Approve Job order, PR & PO that within the limit as per Company’s Authority Matrix.
• Reviews maintenance invoices to ensure that proper maintenance was performed with right cost.
• Ensure all data are captured and recorded accurately in SAP system by checking them on a daily basis to ensure availability of data for analysis purposes.
• Ensure documents are completed and aligning with SOP, with required stamps and/or signatures by making random checks on files to save the company’s interest.
• Implement Cost Reduction Initiative continuously in all aspect of works and monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budget by checking the maintenance cost and analyses weekly basis.
• Promote safe works activities by conducting and controlling safety procedures, role, and safety audits inside workshop, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
• Build and maintain good relationship with co-workers and department by respect, response and solve the problem or complain immediately.
• Use techniques which lead to improve workshop’s team productivity by analysing reports and identifying challenges for better performance and lower cost.
• Identify staff that require on-going training and implement training opportunities to ensure their skills are improved.
• Explains and demonstrate work tasks to new workers or assign workers to experienced workers for further training.
• Recommends personnel action such as hiring, termination and performance evaluations.
• Prepares, compiles, and submits reports on work activities, productivity and Maintenance status report.

• Strong technical Backgrounds in Heavy and light trucks.
• Proficient in English communication. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Excellent time management and priority setting skills
• Problem solving skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Good for using SAP
• Strong analysis skills
• Leadership, Communication and teamwork skills.
