A. Manage the Wagon Workshop at Nariyah Workshop.
B. Ensure Wagons are maintained to AAR and OEM Requirements.
C. Hands‐on experience of AAR Maintenance requirements.
D. Review OEM Maintenance requirements and develop maintenance procedures specific to SAR needs.
E. Advise the Rolling Stock Maintenance Planner on Procedures, Processes, and Reliability improvement.
F. Advise on Materials and Spare Parts requirements.
G. Provide training and mentoring of staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1‐ Meeting the vision and mission of SAR and upholding its good name.
2‐ Share the experience gained and knowledge with the local engineers.
3‐ Prepare Maintenance Requirements for the Maintenance Planner.
4‐ Prepare Staffing Plans and evaluate staff.
5‐ Prepare annual Budget data.
6‐ Assessment of rolling stock, operational issues, continuous performance improvement etc…
7‐ Liaise with OEM Field Support Teams.
8‐ Participate in Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)/Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) activities jointly with consultant and
operator as necessary.
9‐ Ensure that all work performed by consultants or contractors is consistent with engineering standards and in
compliance with industry standards in addition to SAR standards/guidelines.
10‐ Ensures that safety/ operational regulations and requirements are met.
11‐ Ensure staff training is provided.
12‐ Optimizing the additional cost due to operational updates.
13‐ Support the Maintenance Manager by providing advice and guidance based on international best practice.
14‐ Support Rolling Stock Procurement by providing advice and guidance as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
15‐ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
16‐ Be willing to travel on behalf of SAR within and outside The Kingdom if required.
Experience:
>5 years relevant experience.
Senior position in a Wagon Maintenance Facility or Fleet Manager of a Freight Railway
Use of Maintenance Management Information Systems such as Maximo, Oracle, SAP
