Operator Crane Tundish

We are looking for Operator Crane Tundish

Job Purpose:

Responsible for operating overhead and magnet cranes in a safe manner
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Operating overhead and magnet cranes in a safe manner:
- Transport consumables & spares to the casting machine.
- Transport of tundishes/ladles etc. from and to the caster and to the Refractory area.

- Assisting the Maintenance Team in transporting spares to and from the casting machine.
- Undertakes any crane lifting operation within the crane limit, as directed by the CCM Lead Operator / Shift Supervisor

- Ensure standard safe working procedures are followed and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
- Report immediately any maintenance problems in the equipment under his responsibility to Lead Operator Casting.
- Lifting of Moulds/Benders/ Segments / Manipulators etc.when needed.

Operating overhead and magnet cranes in safe manner:
- Inspects and checks the crane functions, wire rope condition, pulleys, etc. and fills the daily EOT- Cranes Operators Pre-operation Checklist. Reports defects to
CCM SSV.

- Ensure safe working procedures are followed and housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Ensure all documents are correctly completed.
- Perform other work duties as requested by his superior.
Making sure he has sufficient tools & materials to carry out his duties.

Reporting failures or unusual incidents to the Lead Operator Casting
Training of new operators
