الوصف الوظيفي DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Washes and decontaminates used instruments and equipment by following prescribed techniques. Maintains, and operates washer/sterilizers, sonic washer, steam and other related equipment by adhering to instructions. Processes and maintains sterile instruments and surgical sets by adhering to adequacy of sets and correct handling techniques. Collects and distributes items to and from the units in a timely manner and correctly documents any shortage problem. Inspects all instruments and devices to determine that they are in good working condition. Checks for and processes outdated supplies and instruments according to procedure. Assists in the maintenance of efficient and adequate stock levels. Reports any problems to CSSD Manager. Promotes personal growth and education by attending in service and unit staff meetings and offers suggestions related to improving service units. Keeps work area and equipment clean. Maintains quality standards of service by adhering to established policies and procedures. Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities. المهارات Essential: Verbal and written comprehension of the English language.
