Projects Compliance:
• Create procedures and guidelines to ensure that governmental and industry regulations are met by manufacturers
• Coordinate information between departments, educating design teams about product specifications and participating in training of personnel
• proactively managing standards compliance throughout the product lifecycle by establishing mechanism to monitor changes in standards compliance.
• keep departments up to date on new or revised regulations that may be relevant to product specifications.
• Responsible for regulatory filings and keeping records and other paperwork that may be required by regulatory bodies or auditors
• Monitor and follow up on tasks related to client contracts, including monitoring their progress and making sure deadlines are
• Make sure customers are abiding by licensing agreements established by the compliance engineer’s employer, thus preventing licensing and trademark violations, as well as ensuring payment are done on a timely manner with finance department.
Policies, Processes and Procedures:
• Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
