To be a focal point for all rig(s) requirements in terms of logistics (import/export, shipments, movement of material to and from the rigs, as well as the hubs)
Maintain courteous, prompt, and efficient internal relations and work closely with Operations to ensure service satisfaction.
Maintain records and work with Govt. relations department for broker authorizations etc.
Handle the repair and return process in terms of logistics, including preparation of documentation, liaison with vendors.
Work with 3PL vendors, SABER authority and other Govt. related authorities for approvals and requirements for importation of material into Saudi.
Ensure that the Company Customs activities are conducted in a compliant manner and reduce/eliminate the risks for fines and penalties.
Responsible for export shipping request accuracy including descriptions, value, dangerous goods declaration, controlled goods, harmonized tariff codes, country of origin, etc.
Recommend/make changes/decisions on new programs/initiatives which have a positive impact on the Company’s efficiency.
Maintain records and report Repair& Return material register and follow upon declaration expiry and refunds.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications / Skills & Experience:
Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain management with 4 years of relevant experience in the same field.
Good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, database, and ERP Systems.
Strong decision making, problem-solving, mentoring, motivational and teamworking skills.
Highly organized with the ability to organize own workload and ability to meet deadlines.
Good administrative, communication and negotiation skills
Experience must have been gained working for a drilling contractor or similar offshore service orientated company.
Full understanding of logistics and shipping management including the 3PL relationship.
