Responsible to the SRF QA Manager for the drafting of all correspondence/ reports, briefing notes etc. on all QA subjects relating to the support for the Al Jawf Class Ships and facilities
•
Establish and maintain a functional system of procedures and controls, encompassing all aspects of QA in accordance with current RSNF directives
•
To operate within the parameters of all RSNF directives, safety procedures, Codes of Practice and QA standards to support Al Jawf Class Minehunters
•
To ensure that all MH QA & QC documentation, procedures and forms are reviewed, updated as required and implemented in SRF
•
Carry out QA audits as required for those areas under his jurisdiction as required by the RSNF
•
To ensure that control and discipline is being maintained over QA subordinate staff at work to ensure acceptable standards of behavior
•
To undertake other duties as assigned on Al Jawf Class Minehunters
•
To observe confidentiality of RSNF data at all times
•
The RSNF may designate this billet as a training billet. The incumbent will be required to impart his knowledge of position-related skills duties and responsibilities in such a manner as permit assimilation on the part of the RSNF trainee
Your Skills & Qualifications
•
qualification in Quality Assurance / Quality Control Management (QA & QC)
•
Degree / Higher National Diploma or Equivalent professional engineering qualification e.g
•
Time Served Trade (Mechanical or Electrical) with combination of QA/QC training and experience (Naval or Ship-build/Repair Background) which provides an equivalent educational standard
•
Eight (8) years experience of this specialist field (QA / QC), with two (2) years in a supervisory capacity
