The role holder is responsible for developing Knowledge Management strategy and framework as well as providing services to stakeholders. The role holder will carry out the responsibility of added-value measurement of Knowledge Management deliverables, and the responsibility of ensuring with related units the implementation of Knowledge Management strategies. The role holder shall carry out job duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Managerial Responsibilities - Participates in the development and implementation of the Knowledge Management plans, in line with the corporate objectives. - Directs and manages the Knowledge Management Section mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards. - Interprets and implements change in the Knowledge Management Section providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement. - Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Knowledge Management Section. Core Responsibilities Section Planning & Strategy Implementation Ensures that the Sector strategy is cascaded for the Knowledge Management Section and develops business plans for the Section to drive the achievement of the desired objectives. Knowledge Management - Participates in the development of STC knowledge management strategy in order to develop and enhance employees’ knowledge, skills and competencies. - Develops and activates the framework for knowledge management life cycle including (Capture, Refine, Store, Manage, Disseminate, and Create). - Oversees to Build and maintain a knowledge center/ platform for all STC employees by managing and publishing employees shared articles and documents. - Maintains best in class governing policies for the knowledge management function and formalize these policies into processes and procedures that would govern the knowledge management. - Manages the change journey towards knowledge sharing and retention culture through emphasis on people, their knowledge, and effective means for sharing knowledge with others. - Ensures that Corporate-wide knowledge management capabilities are built by facilitating collection, sharing and maintenance of know-how, expertise and best practices. - Oversees to create and maintain knowledge classification in alignment with data governance and cybersecurity team. - Support corporate decision making by providing controlled access to internal knowledge and external research subscriptions. - Ensure the generating and managing of reporting processes, and ensure to support the uploading of all L&D;materials and information’s. - Manages the coordination process with BUs and FUs programs departments to create suitable certification-based development programs for knowledge workers in STC. - Manages market and technical research subscriptions with international research groups and organizations. - Ensures to manage, operate, and enhance the STC knowledge management system. - Analyse participation and usage of knowledge management systems and generate suitable reports and recommendations to provide visibility for the management. People Management Responsibilities - Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the STC performance management process. - Directs planning and selection of manpower in the Knowledge Management Section, in line with the business and operational plans. - Ensures high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching team members within the Knowledge Management Section. Performs other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Knowledge Management and Digital Learning director in order to meet objectives.
