PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide plant process engineering technical support to maintain safe, reliable and efficient operation for the Jazan IGCC Gasification units.
Monitor plan performance to identify performance gap and issues. Troubleshoot problems and develop solutions to resolve plant operating issues.
Provide process safety support, including technical and safety reviews for MOC’s, Hazard Reviews, and RCA’s.
Support development and execution of plant modification including process calculations, process specifications and P&ID;mark-up.
Maintain the register of Chemicals/Catalysts required for the Unit;
Understanding Gasification process chemistry, sampling systems and Lab results reading & interpretation;
Establish and maintain compliance with all company and local regulations.
المهارات
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering with minimum of 5 – 10 years’ relevant experience, including process engineering associated with Gasifier operation .
Familiar with P&ID;’s, control strategies alarm and trip tables and operating procedures.
Experience in generating process specifications.
Understanding of process safety systems, including relief devices, and safety instrumented systems.
Effective communication skills and a willingness to seek out cross-functional technical expertise as required, with a proactive approach to problem solving
The ability to provide written reports or presentations of technical work to a variety of audiences
High proficiency in English speaking and writing.
