Plant Process Engineer Acid Gas Removal and Hydrogen Recovery Units
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide plant process engineering technical support to maintain safe, reliable and efficient operation for the Jazan IGCC Acid Gas Removal and Hydrogen Recovery Units.
Monitor plan performance to identify performance gap and issues. Troubleshoot problems and develop solutions to resolve plant operating issues.
Provide process safety support, including technical and safety reviews for MOC’s, Hazard Reviews, and RCA’s.
Support development and execution for new projects and plant modifications.
Understanding AGR and HRU process chemistry, sampling systems and Lab results reading & interpretation;
Establish and maintain compliance with all company and local regulations.
المهارات
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering with minimum of 5 years relevant experience ideally including experience of Acid Gas Removal and/or Hydrogen Recovery Unit operation or design. Specific experience with RECTISOL technology will be considered as preferential selection criteria
Familiar with P&ID;’s, control strategies alarm and trip tables and operating procedures.
Experience in generating process specifications.
Understanding of process safety systems, including relief devices, and safety instrumented systems.
Critical thinking skills and problem-solving capability.
Effective communication skills and a willingness to seek out cross-functional technical expertise as required, with a proactive approach to problem solving
The ability to provide written reports or presentations of technical work to a variety of audiences
High proficiency in English speaking and writing.
