Job Description • Design electrical systems & deliverable, including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender Design and Documentation (including Technical Specifications, BoQ, Schedules and Drawings) • Design Low Voltage & High Voltage Systems to current legislation and codes of practice for various type of buildings based on client brief & guidelines • Evaluate electrical systems, products, components and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. • Perform electrical studies including load flow, short circuit studies, coordination studies, energy audits and code compliance • Maintain and monitor design progress to meet project schedules. • Produce drawings consistent with client requirements and design standards. • Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities. • Write technical reports and prepare designs as part of an overall delivery team • Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers, stakeholders and third parties to ensure successful project delivery. • Confirms systems and components capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties • Lead onsite teams and resolve safety issues. Additional Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in designing of electrical systems, preparing Electrical design layouts for construction projects • Experienced in preparing electrical installation, plant inspection, testing, commissioning and handover. • Possess a high level of technical expertise in electric transmission and distribution of equipment facilities. • Perform troubleshooting and problem identification and analysis.
