Provide technical assistance to the branches in preparing their quotes / tenders to customers. Control ordering the machines, pricing and other departmental records Principal Accountabilities: Recommends a new product/specifications to the current product portfolio by reviewing product specifications and requirements Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitable sales focusing on new market development Develop pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth Assist regions in developing forecasts and business plans Facilitates inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels. Develop and implement along with the Marketing department, marketing initiatives to achieve targets and business plans Visit all relevant Consultants, Ministries, Contractors and end users jointly with regions on a regular basis Endeavor to have bid specifications written to favor Caterpillar products Establish bid strategies in association with Product Manager and Regional Sales Mangers Develop information files on all competitors, pricing, commercial offers, and selling strategies. Ensure pricing remains competitive by regular updates to CAT on competitor activity. Participate in customer training and seminars, as required Conduct regular training sessions on existing
University degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
Fluent in written and spoken English. Computer Literate
