Preferred candidates who worked/working in Largest Hypermarket Chains. The location is at Makkah-Preferred Muslim candidates.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
To ensure High Quality of Standards in FMCG Retail by following Universal Standards and Norms. Also ensure Excellent Customer Service to achieve wow feeling. Responsible for ensuring the financial performance of the departments and achieving given targets for the department.
Key Responsibilities
To manage the operations of the Grocery department with high level of service and profitability of the business
To oversee day-to-day operations at grocery department.
Monitoring, systematically departmental costs including staff cost, operational performance and alerting the Store Manager for impending issue.
Mentor and train employees
Implement business strategies to increase sales
Prepare staff for job transition and succession
Keeping staff motivated at all levels.
Ensuring effective implementation of all Standard Procedures and Baladiya Guidelines such as hygiene, sanitation, and security and safety standards.
Implementing loss prevention and shrink procedures, managing the inventory and taking measures to minimize damages, loss and thefts and optimizing stock turnover.
Planning effective Promotions in line with the Seasonal requirement.
Liaise with Store Manager in the planning, receiving/handling and replenishment with respect to the right level of stock on the shelves, periodic verification of expiration dates of all food & non-food products.
Ensuring proper implementation of visual merchandising recommendations and as needed adopt refinements imposed by store layout/infrastructure constraints/other constraints maintaining high standards of visual display and customer experience.
Providing inputs to Logistics in order to optimize the replenishment and to Merchandise with respect to possible improvements of assortment and pricing.
Reporting to the Store Manager regarding operational issues and recommending possible solutions.
Handling Customer Complaints and ensuring high level of Customer Service and Wow feeling.
Ensuring KPIs are set for the entire team including Supervisors and Sales Team. Review periodic performance and maintain
rating as per Company Guidelines.
Addressing Suppliers Issues to the Commercial Team in order to have timely solutions.
Following up on Trading Standards, code dating and product rotation.
Ensuring high store standards, apparel rack rules, end cap profile, Signage’s, Shelf Labelling, etc.
