Formulate emergency response programs and procedures for all types of emergency situations affecting SACC operations in order to effectively communicate and implement emergency and crisis management activities to all SACC facilities, and provide emergency preparedness trainings to all employees and other stakeholders.
Develop strategies and identify opportunities thru planned verification activities to achieve a level of compliance of assigned special tasks and analyse gathered data for management decisions that will lead to safe and secured operations and improve SACC safety culture.

A. ERP
1. Develop and maintain a generic emergency response plan (ERP) that will be used as guide to develop all SACC stations and facilities ERP.
2. Develop and maintain operating procedures that will be used as step by step guide by employees in response to all type of emergencies that may affect business operations.
3. Inspect SACC facilities and equipment in order to determine their operational and functional capabilities in emergency situations, and in recovery from these events.
4. Study and benchmark emergency plans used by other organizations in order to improve the current SACC ERP or to be used in developing ERPs of other SACC facilities.
5. Review emergency response plans of individual stations and facilities to ensure their adequacy and applicability.
6. Provide assistance in developing individual station ERPs.
7. Propose amendments of SACC’s emergency procedures based on regulatory and technological changes, and/or from the knowledge gained from previous emergency situations or practice drills.
8. Ensure all ERPs (Corporate and Station) adhere to local regulations.
9. Maintain and update all resource materials associated with SACC ERPs.
10. Keep informed of activities or organizational changes that could affect the likelihood of an emergency, as well as those that could affect the response efforts and details of SACC ERP implementations.
11. Spearhead in the conduct of emergency drills in all SACC stations and facilities.
12. Ensure post-drill or post-emergency meetings are conducted to gather feedback on the level of performance from both SACC organization and the responding authorities.
13. Provide management with action plans or status reports that describe of any shortcomings during the drills or real emergency response and recovery efforts for support and future budgets.
14. Conduct detailed investigations on incidents that resulted to emergencies and provide management with damage assessment reports as part of the investigation output.
15. Conduct regular risk assessment on critical operational activities and areas that has high potential to result in emergency.
16. Conduct surveys to determine the types of emergency-related activities that will need to be addressed in emergency planning or provide technical support to stations in their emergency planning activities.
17. Develop training materials and provide trainings to all SACC staff and third parties in all aspects of emergency response including basic firefighting, evacuation strategies, property protection, first aid, recovery activities and others.
18. Design and manage emergency preparedness in-house courses that teaches employees how to effectively respond to any type of emergencies and disasters.
19. Develop emergency awareness campaign materials to be distributed to all stations/facilities.
20. Ensure station ERP Teams are provided with periodic trainings and their skills/knowledge assess for their readiness and compliance to regulatory requirements.
21. Attend meetings, conferences and workshops related to emergency management in order to learn new information and to develop working relationships with other specialists in the field.
22. Maintain liaisons with Zahran Building Management and similar entities for rented SACC facilities in order to facilitate emergency plan development, response effort coordination, and exchanges of personnel and equipment, regardless if the activity is a drill or real emergency.
23. Develop and maintain liaisons with local fire department for response coordination during practice drills and in actual emergencies.
B. Special Task
1. Lead in achieving HSE objectives for special task programs such as the flight inspection and analysis, Airline Quality Data (AQD) implementation and monitoring, HSE manuals and policies development, HSE Dashboard development and monitoring, support in addressing regulatory requirements and other future HSE programs.
2. Develop guidelines to ensure special tasks are performed efficiently on the basis of management decisions or from regulatory requirements.
3. Guide Specialist on all aspects of the special task programs including what data are needed to be collected and activities to be performed, and ensure regular consolidation and updating to Director, HSSE.
4. Develop tracking mechanism to ensure special task activities and deadlines are completed on time and presented to the Director, HSSE.
5. Conduct activities based on assigned task and collect data for review and analysis.
6. Perform statistical and trend analysis on special tasks that involved numerical data.
7. Maintain records of every special task program for reference and trend comparison.
8. Provide Executive Director, QHSSE and Director, HSSE with statistical figures and trend development for their presentation to SACC Executive Management.
9. Perform verification audits and inspection as required compliance of specific special tasks.
10. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on any deviations arising from the conduct of special task.
11. Develop Action Plan for any deviations and shortcomings during the performance of the special tasks and request support from management, if needed.
12. Present accomplishment report on the progress of the assigned special task.
13. Work with operational employees to achieve desired results.
14. Perform Tool Box Talks and short briefings on issue related to the special task.
15. Maintain discipline and work ethics to ensure special tasks are complete on time without sacrificing relationship with operational personnel.
16. Cross-function members of the Special Task team and provide coaching to ensure members upgrade their skills and knowledge.
17. Perform other activities as instructed by Director, HSSE.
