الوصف الوظيفي
· Install or remove hardware and/or software, and associated connections, using supplied installation instructions and tools.
· Assist the LEAM and Research Computing Teams with supporting their computers and peripherals.
· Control IT assets in one or more significant areas, ensuring that administration of the acquisition, storage, distribution, movement and disposal of assets is carried out.
· Define, documents and carries out small projects with limited budget alone or within a small team and actively participating in all phases.
· Document results in accordance with agreed procedures.
· Assist with the evaluation of change requests.
· Contribute, as required, to investigations of problems and faults concerning the installation of hardware and/or software and confirms the correct working of installations.
· Carry out agreed operational procedures of a routine nature.
· Resolve hardware problems on University computer systems; perform hardware repairs, maintenance, technical assistance, and support on a wide range of computers and peripherals.
· Conduct tests and correct malfunctions.
· Resolve problems on computer applications and systems; provide a wide range of in-depth technical assistance to departmental user support staff.
· Provide integrated hardware and software support; troubleshoots and resolves system hardware, and software failures and conflicts.
· Maintain high customer service standards in dealing with executives, faculty, researchers and responding to issues and questions.
