Primary Purpose:
Conduct technical knowledge and skill competency assessments for all technicians in the assigned workshop.
Conduct hands-on workshop training on products to ensure technician competencies are met at the required standards.
Serve as coach and mentor to the workshop technicians by offering advice, correcting technical practices, and facilitating troubleshooting procedures.
Principal Accountabilities:
· Develop, update and follow the TCDP competency assessment schedule for the assigned region.
· Conduct technical knowledge and skill competency assessments for all technicians in the assigned workshop and communicate with the relevant line managers regarding their registration in the relevant courses.
· Liaise with the relevant SOM to ascertain the nature of upcoming jobs and prepare assessment and hands-on workshop training initiatives accordingly.
· Conduct hands-on workshop training on products to ensure technician competencies are met at the required standards, and develop the troubleshooting proficiency of the workshop technicians.
· Serve as coach and mentor to the workshop technicians by offering advice, correcting technical practices, and facilitating troubleshooting procedures.
· Ensure that technician logbooks are maintained for accuracy and are up-to-date at all times.
· Responsible for developing personal product knowledge and mastering all required competencies, in accordance with the personal development plan set by the T&D;Controller.
· Source and compile all relevant training materials which include assessment forms and procedures, course outlines, trainer modules, notes and presentations, trainee handouts, self-study materials, practical exercises using equipment/tools, and any other relevant materials.
· Prepare and conduct customer training courses as required.
· Ensure that safety and contamination control regulations are followed at all times.
· Adheres to all Zahid Tractor policies with special emphasis on ZLC policies and guidelines.
Any other tasks assigned by the Management.
المهارات
Degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in both English and Arabic
6 years Heavy Machinery dealer experience working on a range of products, preferably CAT.
Proven experience on Machine/engine diagnostics and troubleshooting is essential.
