1. Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
2. Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
3. Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
4. Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
5. Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
6. Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces
7. Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
8. Prepare sales and purchase contracts
9. Explain terms and conditions to managers and interested parties
10. Ensure that employees understand and comply with company contracts
11. Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
12. Stay up-to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed
13. Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met
14. Create language standards for existing and new contracts Act as the point of
contact between the executives and internal/external clients
