Carry out installation, maintenance, repairs, overhauling, Preventive maintenance, modification of various production machines, in the plant to ensure the continuous operation of plant and machinery.
المهارات
1. Carries out preventive maintenance, repairs, modification and installation work, commissioning and tests equipment, post maintenance and production Supervisors for acceptance of work.
2. Determine job requirements for all scheduled and requested maintenance jobs. Inspects equipment’s and work site to determine extend of work, materials and tools requirements. Arranges support services from other trade as required.
3. Provides work directions to other electricians on shift and assists in the provisions of on the job training as teamwork.
4. Reads and interprets relevant drawings and data for effective repair , maintenance and installation
5. Assist in conducting technical study and analysis on difficult or repetitive problems malfunctioning. Provides advises and recommendations from the electrical engineering point of view on problem analysis and study so that a corresponding solution or modification can be carried out to increase the machine efficiency and utilization.
6. Maintains and update stock of electrical consumables in the electrical workshop to provide immediate repair and liaison on special purchase of electrical items and requests for ordering of necessary unavailable spare parts.
7. Carries out and directs major maintenance and overhauls of electrical equipment’s on site as necessary in the workshop. Carries out removal, cleaning and replacing of defective parts
8. Maintain a clean work area all times and ensures that all maintenance activities in manufacturing plants are carried out safely and in accordance with maintenance policies, procedures and manufacturers recommendations.
9. Updates all maintenance and equipment records, reporting on the consumption of the materials and spare parts and utilization of man power. Notes regular readings from the equipment’s inspections.
10. Performs other similar or relayed jobs such as: spot checking the ongoing work, reporting any defect to appropriate leaders etc.
11. Uses safety tools / equipment’s as supplied.
