Well Known FMCG Company Based in Jeddah is looking for Senior Accountant with the below job duties:
Support the execution of the monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes for IFRS and US GAAP reporting. This includes supporting the execution of final reporting controls, preparing month/quarter-end accruals, balance sheet account reconciliation, system reconciliations, intercompany process, and internal/external financial reporting.
Manage the trade fund accounting process ensuring proper accruals at month-end, correct accounting classification in the financial statements, and maintaining adequate supporting documentation for the trade fund accruals.
Support the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of internal controls within the organization working with cross-functional teams and external consultants
Provide on-going support to internal and external audit activities including preparation and review of audit requirements.
Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement to drive effectiveness and efficiency with a focus on increasing automation.
Support all VAT related matters and ensure SJV VAT compliance in coordination with SJV VAT consultants
Support the local and US GAAP tax accounting and reporting in coordination with SJV tax consultants
Support special project work, as required.
المهارات
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or Business Administration with concentration in Accounting.
Chartered Accountant (CA)/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, or international equivalent, required.
3-5 years of relevant experience
Solid understanding of IFRS and US GAAP and financial statements and how to apply it efficiently.
Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate information to Leadership and distill issues and risks.
Strong understanding of internal controls, with attention to detail and data integrity.
High proficiency in Excel.
Strong verbal and written English language skills
Mix of public accounting (Big 4) and private industry experience.
MAS90, HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) experience
