الوصف الوظيفي Responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and expanding the strategic analysis of market segments and related competitors and customers. Develop from this information priority segment and customer targets, specific product and service solutions and tactical plans and tools for achieving near and long-term objectives. S/he acts a focal point for actionable market, customer, competitive, and planning information at the segment level. In all activities, the Strategic Marketing Specialist needs to work within their assigned Sectors and in coordination with Product Marketing/Category Managers, Sales Managers, Sales, Technical Service and other Support Functions to complete Responsibilities 2. Job Responsibilities & Tasks Duties include but are not limited to · Dimension Alize and value assigned market sectors, segments and sub-segments · Develop, maintain and refine related external market data sources · Identify and maintain ownership structures among potential customers · Determine segment supply structures such as use of intermediary suppliers · Identify important customer behaviours such as purchasing strategies · Gather and maintain information related to segment attractiveness (see Strategy) · Work with Sales to quantify relationship between resource deployment and account maintenance, growth and account generation (the Sales Equation) · Contribute to a Unified Planning Model that compiles all strategic market information such as market size, growth, share, and planning metrics · Participate in annual Business Planning and periodic Strategy Updates · Gather competitive intelligence in market segments such as customers, resources deployed, product offerings, pricing, apparent strategies and tactics · Participate regularly in field sales calls and customer visits/interviews · Design and lead customer surveys · Gather and maintain customer feedback, share findings, and maintain a customer scorecard and strategic actions to improve on results · Participate in Supply and Operations Planning meetings particularly to manage sales volume forecasts vis a vis production volumes · Maintain and analyse data on customer/product turnover · Determine market segment customer targets and priorities · Perform analyses on specific customers or particular customer segments · Determine and refine all product, service, and delivery customer characteristics · Build and maintain a current and future phased customer product and service solution/needs for segment and sub-segments · Work closely with Product Marketing/Category Managers to identify product or service gaps and get them filled · Maintain a summary of core value proposition NAPCO offers customers in a segment and participate in training Sales and Service · Contribute to the development of sales incentives · Perform analytic drilldowns on key operational subjects · Contribute to implementation and leverage of online commercial tools · Recommend and develop effective marketing tools and programs · Contribute segment-specific analyses related to business development activities 3.
