Understand and shape the company’s strategy and mission
Develop plans to materialize strategy and analyze business proposals
Establishes goals. Develops plans and milestones. Assigns priorities. Develops policies and procedures. Projects budget requirements and allocates available resources.
Research competition to identify threats and opportunities
Assess the company’s operational and strategic performance
Align processes, resources-planning and department goals with overall strategy
Communicates organizational goals. Keeps employees and other managers informed. Develops and establishes review systems to assist in achieving goals.
Interact with business unit leads to analyze business performance and drive positive strategic changes across the Commerce Enablement organization
Takes corrective actions to maintain work progress on schedule, improve employee performance or modify program goals or operations, as appropriate.
Provide support and insight into significant organizational changes (e.g. shift in strategic focus, mergers and acquisitions)
Educate senior executives in making effective decisions
Construct forecasts and analytical models
Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes
Conducting research and data analysis to inform business decisions
المهارات
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (MQs)
10 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic business planning that includes substantive work in the range of DUTIES in this job description.
Understanding of market research and data analysis
Knowledge of business operations and procedures
Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field; MSc/MA/MBA is a plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifications listed below (if any) are preferred and may be considered in the selection process, but they are not required to be rated qualified for this job.
1. A Master of Business Administration Degree or a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management, Strategic Planning or another field providing a strong foundation for successful performance of the DUTIES in this job description.
2. Experience successfully implementing operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP®), Program Management Professional (PgMP®), or Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP®) from the Project Management Institute, Strategic Management Professional (Level II) from the Association for Strategic Planning, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from the American Society for Quality, or an equivalent certification.
