Duties & Responsibilities:
Check and plan the description of the job order.
Clean the equipment for machining before start doing any job order.
Prepare all tools intended for the job required.
Investigate all the drawing and diminutions given.
Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three and four jaw chucks, tools attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers, indicating vices trimming heads.
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to international standards.
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operation; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Clean and lubricate machine tools and equipment in order to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.
Specific Accountabilities :
Providing good services to every assigned task.
Performs proper maintenance of the equipments by following company standard procedures, and safety precautions.
Monitor preventive maintenance scheduled for any lathes machines and precession tools.
Techniques and methods to identify the risks of hazards at workplace and carefully dealing with hazards to avoid any accident or injury.
Verifying the job description complaint or assigned job from superiors.
Keep workplace area organized, free of clutter, clean, and presentable at all times.

Key Skills & Competencies:
Good in lathe machine operations system.
Good in mathematics for dimension, and offsets calculation.
Good in oral and written for paper works and reporting purposes.
Can interpret drawings, repair manuals, parts books, and different types of metals.
Knowledge in the conversion of units from metric to English calculation for different types of precession tools.
Awareness of health and safety.
Education & Experience:
Diploma or Certificate in Machining (Lathe Machine) and preferably with on-the-job training.
Good professional type Machinist with 5 years experience and good command in both oral and written English language.
Key Performance Indicators:
The accomplishment of work.
Enough knowledge in programs of mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tools registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches, calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry proving part programs.
Maintaining cleanliness in the workplace and following health and safety standard roles.
Key Relationships:
Internal
Coordinating with Department Head.
Coordinating the work and activities to others.
Maintaining a good relationship with other co-workers.
External
Occasional contact with other personnel from other organizations for some discussion as required by the superior.
