About the Position:
Process safety management of SIPCHEM petrochemical complex to avoid any process safety event which can result into human injury, equipment and environment damage.
Major Duties/ Responsibilities:
· To facilitate the process risk assessments and help develop safety operating practices to support plant operations, provide technical leadership and support to
identify hazards, assess risks and provide cost efficient management solutions
· Advise higher management on latest development in process safety
· Implement international standards and local regulations on process safety management like OSHA 1910.119 and HCIS regulation on process safety.
· Develop, review company process safety management standards and ensure their compliance through audit protocol
· Support Operations and other departments by providing process safety technical support.
· Coordinate and lead process safety reviews of existing processes and new projects
· Provide solutions to mitigate process safety risks
· Track and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
· Provide oversight for the site Management of Change (MOC) Process
· Manage the site PHA schedule and recommendation implementation plan
· Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for serious process safety incidents and near misses
· Provide oversight and conduct audits for Pre- Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)
· Develop and monitor process safety KPIs
· Review MOCs and approve accordingly as per requirement
المهارات
About the Candidate:
· At least Bachelor in Chemical Engineering with preferably certification in process safety engineer
· Minimun 10 years in a petrochemical company or oil and gas.
· Additional / Specialized Training
· Must be conversant with OSHA 1910.119 standard and other related international standard on process safety management like API-754, 750 etc.
· Strong English language in Writing, Reading and spoken
